AH Beard Domino?

AH Beard have been making mattress in Australia since 1899 and are celebrating their 120th anniversary. AH Beard own the 90 year old Domino brand that is the official partner of the Australian Institute of Sport and Sensitive Choice approved.

Sealy?

Sealy was first made in 1881 and local production started in Australia in the 1960’s. A Sealy mattress features Australian sourced materials (including Australian steel for the springs) and is backed by worldwide innovation, research and development.

Next Day Metro

What is the cutoff time?

For next day metro delivery, orders should be placed by noon from Monday to Friday. Orders placed after noon on Friday or on Saturday or Sunday are available for delivery by Tuesday the following week.

Which areas does metro include?

As far North as Palm Beach and Mooney Mooney; North West to Bowen Mountain;  West to Penrith; South West to Oakdale and South to Bundeena & Campbelltown. We do deliver far north, far south and far west to rural, please contact us to arrange.

Free Delivery

When do you deliver?

We deliver from Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm. We understand that many of you are at work and thus have made Saturday delivery possible for you.

What notice do I get for delivery?

You will be called on the morning of your preferred delivery date with a three hour window and then 1/2 hour on approach.

Can I select my preferred delivery date?

Yes, use the calendar at checkout and select your preferred delivery date at the time of your order. If you are unsure, pick a date further out and then change it later.

Can I change my preferred delivery date?

Yes, but please contact Capital Transport on (02) 8832 5181 at least the day before. If it’s the morning of your delivery the team may have already departed.

Room of Choice

Do you deliver to room of choice?

Yes we do, our two man team will deliver and place your mattress into your room of choice and remove the bag if requested.

Do you deliver up stairs?

Yes we do, however please ensure that your staircase provides sufficient access for a queen size mattress (1.53m x 2.03m).

Remove & Recycle

Do you remove & recycle my old mattress?

Yes we do, our  team will conveniently remove and recycle your old mattress at time of delivery of your new mattress. There is a $65 charge that is selected at checkout.

What about removing headboards and bedframes?

Not at this stage, please arrange with your council for a specific pickup or a scheduled cleanup. Ensemble bases can be removed, please contact us.

NOT in a Box

Why in a Box?

Some brands sell mattresses that are rolled up in a box, with same day delivery by a single man courier service, as they are more cost effective to store and transport. 

Why NOT in a box?

Our mattresses mattresses have a firm edge, providing you with a larger effective sleep surface and edge support. Our mattress designs aren’t compromised to have them rolled up in a box and are delivered full size by a two man team.

Comfort Guarantee

Why 48 nights?

After 7 weeks, your body will adjust to your new sleeping posture and the mattress will adjust to the weight and shape of your body.

What are my comfort guarantee options?

You may exchange your mattress to the same size, for another at same the price or next model up by paying the difference or get a comfort adjustment to yours.  

What are the requirements?

A breathable, waterproof mattress protector must be purchased in the second step of the checkout for $95 and used on the mattress at all times.

What are the charges at time of exchange?

There is a $50 exchange fee that is payable at the time you request your comfort guarantee exchange.  

Optional 30 Night Trial

Why 30 nights?

After 3 weeks, your body will adjust to your new sleeping posture and the mattress will adjust to the weight and shape of your body, by week 4 you’ll know for sure.

When is the refund processed?

You must be the original owner of the mattress and have your proof of purchase. Your refund will be processed within 2-5 business days of receiving the return.

What is required for the trial?

A breathable, waterproof mattress protector must be purchased in the second step of the checkout for $95 and used on the mattress at all times.

How much is the refund?

The refund is for the full amount paid for the mattress and thus excludes any coupons and does not include the price paid for the protector – that’s yours to keep.

What happens to the returns?

We donate your mattress to Charity – remember that all returns must be in good condition and a mattress protector must have been used, thus a welcomed donation.

What are the charges for returns?

There are no charges for returns in all our free delivery areas. Simply contact us to arrange for your mattress to be picked up from where it was originally delivered.

Queen Size

Why only Queen Size?

At 153cm x 203cm it’s the most popular size and the one we are launching with. We hold all our mattresses ready for delivery and will add other sizes once we expand.

What about other sizes?

Other sizes such as single, king single, double, king and super king will be available at a later stage. If you require a different size, please see bedsaustralia.com.au

Medium Comfort

Why only Medium Comfort?

The majority of people (side, back and tummy sleepers) are well suited to a medium comfort. Providing the right level of pressure relief for most body types.

What about other comfort feels?

Firm Support

What is good support?

Our mattresses feature springs as the support system, providing you with many years of strong support to maintain correct body posture whilst sleeping.

What about other support systems?

Whilst there are other support systems we have confidence in (such as natural latex), we ask the question, will a 100% foam mattress provide 10 years of support?
